EWF were guests of President Clinton and the First Lady to perform at
the largest White House state dinner in history. The dinner was for King
Mohammed VI of Morocco and The Princess, his sister. The King himself requested
Earth, Wind and Fire! This picture looks a little strange because I was
holding the camera and took the picture myself...I've been known to do
that a lot.
...here I am with "The Prez" himself (Sheldon Reynolds snuck in). We just agreed that the "Conga" will be the official emblem of the United States, replacing the "Bald Eagle". He also asked me if I'd be the "Ambassador of Percussion". I calmly told him, "Mr. President, if my country needs me, I shall do all that I can, for my fellow Americans!!!" (6/20/00)

At the end of August my Mom's dream, (with a lot of help from my cousin Debbie...thanx, Deb) of having a family reunion finally materialized.
