"El Niño" Collapsible Rainstick

Now comes in two sizes, 4ft. and 5ft.

Rainstick The name "EL NIŅO" was inspired by the winter long on/off rains of 1997 and a rain stick Valtinho (percussionist in NYC) had when we where on tour in Japan. Unlike conventional rain sticks, the sound of "EL NIŅO" is similar to the sound of rain or hail falling on a tin roof. When slightly tilted, it sounds as if it's raining for a long time. When tilted in a more vertical position, it's louder and sounds like a shorter, harder & louder rain. The "EL NIŅO" has a somewhat rough texture which gives it a look as if it too was slightly affected by the hard and damaging rain. When put together it creates a rain stick 4' or 5' long then it can be broken down into two pieces for easy packing. You will love this rainstick for both its full, lush sound and its portability.
